This happens when your automated ID check has failed.

This happens when the info provided at sign-up doesn't exactly match the government records we check against, or when we require further ID verification from you.

What does this mean?

You will need to send some additional ID documents so we can manually complete the required ID verification to use Douugh.

Securely sending documents to Douugh is quick and easy, all you need to do is follow these directions here.

What do I need to send?

To verify your ID, please send us ANY of the following groups of 2 documents. Please be sure to include your full name, and the date, written on a piece of paper in the photos with your ID documents:

  • Australian driver's license (front and back) & Medicare card

  • Passport & Medicare card

  • Passport & Australian driver's license (front and back)

Please note that we cannot accept Proof of Age cards or Photo ID cards.

Please be sure to send these documents as either .PDF .IMG or .PNG files. We cannot accept/open .HEIC files.

These ID checks are in place for the protection of all our customers and need to be completed before you can transact with Douugh.
