How do I change the account I withdraw to?

When attempting to withdraw funds from your US Wallet to a new or different bank account you may need to complete some additional verifications that are designed to ensure that your hard-earned cash stays your hard-earned cash!

Before you withdraw

Please make sure that the funds you wish to withdraw are settled as Cash in your US Wallet; note that both Share sales and Funding can take up to 3 business days to settle as cash so please allow plenty of time for everything to settle before you withdraw.

When you are confident the funds in your US Wallet are settled, follow these steps to start changing the bank account you are withdrawing to:

  • Log into the Douugh app (or tap the ‘Home’ button if you are already logged in).

  • Tap 'Invest Jar’.

  • Tap ‘US Shares’.

  • Tap ‘Transfer Money’.

  • Tap ‘Out of US Wallet’.

  • Tap 'Change' next to the bank account that is pre-selected.

  • Tap 'Add'.

If you need to complete some additional verifications at this stage you will be able to get in touch with us by tapping 'Contact Support'.

This will connect you with our Douugh Bot who will request some further details to pass through to our team to help you through the change.

As completing the additional verifications can take 1-2 business days, keep in mind you can always opt to withdraw to your existing bank details. The following guide covers how to do this:
