When you place an order that is not executed immediately, it will display as Pending.
This may occur for a few reasons;
The market may not be open.
The order is currently being processed.
A limit order may not have reached the desired price.
The stock may be experiencing volatility.
Once the order has been executed, it will move to the ‘Holdings’ section of your app if you’re buying.
If you’re selling, you’ll receive your cash two trading days later.
